About Godolphin

A. All thoroughbreds descend from three Arabian Stallions, the Byerley Turk, Darley Arabian and the Godolphin Arabian. The Maktoum family’s racing operation is named in honour of the Godolphin Arabian while H.H. Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum’s breeding operation is named after the Darley Arabian. Mahmood Al Zarooni saddled his first Godolphin runners at the 2010 Dubai World Cup and Calming Influence provided Mahmood with the best possible start to his career when storming home under Ahmed Ajtebi to win the US$1-million Group Two Godolphin Mile at Meydan on March 27, 2010.

Entries and Results
Q. When are these pages updated on the website?
A. Race entries are made most days during the UK racing season and the Entries page on the site is updated accordingly. The Entries page is also updated when we have runners in Dubai, USA and other countries. Race cards are available for the majority of our runners, to view this information click on the race name within the Entries page. The Results page is updated immediately after each horse has run with the respective race result. To view the form, and a full result, click on horse’s name.
Q. Can I read about how a horse has performed in its race?
A. Visit the latest Racing Action page within the News section to view comments on how a horse has performed. For Group/Grade runners a full race review will be available.

A. The Godolphin Gallery is home to the treasures captured by the Godolphin Racing Stable in their global campaign to race the finest thoroughbreds in the world. This unique gallery houses a collection of glittering trophies, photographic memorabilia and interactive audio-visual presentations.
Q. Where is the Godolphin Gallery located and is it possible to visit it?
A. The Gallery was located at Nad Al Sheba racecourse, Dubai but it is currently closed as it is scheduled, in due course, to move to Meydan, the UAE’s iconic horseracing city.

Stable Tours
Q. Do Godolphin hold stable tours/visits at their stables in Dubai and/or Newmarket?
A. We are sorry but we do not hold tours/visits at Godolphin's Stables in Newmarket and/or at Al Quoz Stables, Dubai. It may be worthwhile contacting the Dubai Racing Club as they may be able to organise a visit to another prominent yard in Dubai or alternatively, the National Horseracing Museum in Newmarket organise stable tours of other training establishments in the area.
